This Data Protection Policy describes the principles and measures Locatenow.ai applies when processing personal data, and how we support our customers in meeting their obligations under applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

1. Principles

We process personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently; collect it for specified purposes; minimise what we collect; keep it accurate; retain it no longer than necessary; and ensure appropriate security.

2. Roles

For data processed on behalf of our customers through the platform, we generally act as a processor and our customer as the controller. For our own website and marketing data, we act as the controller.

3. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred across borders between our regions in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, we apply appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

4. Security measures

Our security programme is aligned with ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2, including access controls, encryption, monitoring, and resilient cloud architecture backed by a 99.99% reliability SLA.

5. Breach notification

We maintain procedures to detect, investigate, and report personal data breaches to affected parties and authorities in line with legal requirements.
